Publish or Perish
Writing for publication is an important activity for academics but not enjoyed by many. In the changed scenario where published work is a pre-requisite and is important for selection, appointment and for further promotions in academics.
Even after having conducted a study, many clinicians find it extremely difficult to write and prepare the manuscript which can be accepted for publication in the peer reviewed medical journals. It has been proved that courses on medical writing results in increase in publication.
